The Cowboy Junkies will be performing in Mission on July 20 at the Clarke Foundation Theatre.

This summer, the Cowboy Junkies will celebrate the one-year anniversary of their critically-acclaimed album, Such Ferocious Beauty, with a run of dates in Western Canada, including a stop in Mission

On July 20, the Cowboy Junkies will perform at the Clarke Foundation Theatre beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster

Cowboy Junkies are a Canadian alternative country/blues/folk rock band. The group was formed in Toronto in 1985 by Margo Timmins (vocalist), Michael Timmins (songwriter, guitarist), Peter Timmins (drummer) and Alan Anton (bassist).

Their 1986 debut album was the blues-inspired Whites Off Earth Now!!, recorded using an ambisonic microphone in the family garage.

The group’s fame spread with their second album, The Trinity Session, recorded in 1987.

The band was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame in 2019. They continue to tour extensively around the world, including tours of the USA, New Zealand, Australia, Europe, and the UK
