Mission had two vehicles stolen last week.

According to a Mission RCMP news release, a white 2024 GMC Sierra pickup was left parked on Harbour Avenue on Saturday night (June 22).

When the owner returned the next morning (June 23), the truck was gone. Police say officers are canvassing the area for CCTV footage.

A red 2006 Ford Fusion was also stolen out of a driveway on Finch Terrace the same night. RCMP believe the theft occurred between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Those with information are urged to contact Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161.

While two vehicles were stolen, RCMP were also able to find another stolen vehicle.

On Wednesday night (June 19), patrolling gang enforcement officers spotted a black Mazda CX-9 driving up Wren Street. It was flagged as a stolen vehicle.

Police say the SUV turned onto Raven Street before the driver exited and fled.  Per the release, officers ran after the man but he refused to stop.

The man, who was prohibited from driving, ran into a residence on Lapwing Crescent, where officers arrested him.
